/>龙门寺，属全国重点文物保护单位，在山西平顺县城西北65公里龙门山腰。此地山峦耸峙，峭壁悬崖，谷内夹石凸起，形如龙首，故曰龙门山，寺建于此，名亦因之。<br />创始于北齐天保年间，北宋乾德年间改为今名，明清又局部修葺。<br />据史料记载，南北朝北齐天保年间法聪和尚，经五台山云游至此，顿觉此地清静幽雅，灵气飘逸，遂禀呈圣上，传旨建寺，初名“法华寺”。后唐时有50余间殿宇，宋时增至百余间。<br />山西平顺龙门寺br /山西平顺龙门寺br /宋太祖赵匡胤敕赐寺额为“龙门山惠日院”，又名惠日院。因龙门山形如龙首，于北宋乾德年间更名为“龙门寺”，寺内僧侣已增至300多人。到了元代，寺院方圆七里山上山下地庙皆属本寺，无俗家地宅。元末遭兵燹，多数建筑废记，明清两代予以重葺和增建。<br />龙门寺，现存殿堂廊庑，布局严谨。中轴线三进院落，东西禅堂，经舍等各成一区。其中前院西配殿为五代后唐同光三年(925年)所建，三开间悬山式，殿内无柱，梁枋简洁规整，犹存唐风。br /五代木构建筑悬山式殿宇仅此一例。大雄宝殿北宋绍圣五年(1098年)建，广深各三间，平面近方形，单檐九脊顶，斗拱五铺作单抄单下昂，斗拱与梁架结构在一起，共承屋顶负荷。<br />殿顶琉璃脊兽，形制古老，色泽纯朴，为元代烧造。天王殿构造灵活，梁枋断面互不一致，显系金构，后殿三间，悬山式，元代形制，其他殿堂均为明清重建。 <!-- desc_user:end --> </td></tr><tr><td colspan=\"1\"><hr></td></tr><tr><td><table width=\"100%\"><tr><td align=\"left\"
